Sources and transformations

Ranking Invest organizes financial statements and public company information. In Brazil, CVM filings and investor-relations documents are primary verification references. For US companies, consult company reports and SEC/EDGAR filings. Market data may be obtained through intermediaries such as Brapi and Yahoo Finance.

Proprietary indexes are calculated by Ranking Invest. A primary-source reference does not mean every field is obtained directly from that institution, nor imply a partnership or endorsement.

Three separate dates

The accounting period identifies the quarter covered by results. The market-data timestamp identifies when the system recorded price or capitalization data. The editorial review date identifies when explanatory text was checked. None substitutes for the others.

Updates depend on company disclosures, provider availability and processing jobs. Real-time quotes and simultaneous updates across companies are not guaranteed. A stale-quote warning means an index may reflect the last valid observation.

Missing data and market differences

Missing fields, short histories, incompatible currencies and accounting validation failures may prevent publication of an index. Missing data is not economic zero. Do not extrapolate the Brazilian formulas in these guides to US companies without checking the applicable methodology.

Responsibility and corrections

Ranking Invest is responsible for its institutional content and indicators. These guides document the implementation and were checked against the code on the stated review date; this is not an independent audit. To report a discrepancy through the institutional channel below, include ticker, market, period, field and the source document.
